About Northeastern Pennsylvania Labor Management Council (NEPALMC) |

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Labor Management Council
is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to promoting economic retention
and development by encouraging labor management cooperation. The NEPALMC encourages
participation from business, labor, education, government and the community. Our
Mission is to be an effective neutral forum to foster and improve relations between
labor and management, resulting in a positive image, economic growth, and an improved
quality of life for all unions, companies and the communities we serve in Northeastern
Pennsylvania.
The NEPALMC offers a wide range of services to our members and the community on
issues that affect labor and management in the workplace. Membership services
include a quarterly newsletter, discounted rates for all workshops and
seminars, access to the expert consulting services of our Board of Directors
who represent labor, management, community and government agencies, and discounted
rates on our state of the art Employee Assistance
Program.

Council Seeks Nominations for Annual CAP Award,

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Labor Management Council is once again seeking nominations for the Annual CAP Award Presentation. According to Eve Centrelli, Executive Director of the Council, CAP is an acronym for Cooperation, Achievement, Productivity. The Award is presented every year to a company, union or team from a private or public work site in Northeastern Pennsylvania that exemplifies cooperative labor management relations and practices. The purpose of the Award is to pay tribute to those individuals who, through innovative programs are making a difference in labor management relations in the workplace. Nomination forms can be downloaded from the Council’s website at www.nepalmc.org.
The Northeastern Pennsylvania Labor Management Council is a neutral non-profit organization committed to fostering and improving labor management relations throughout the Northeast PA. The end result of labor management cooperation is a positive image, economic growth and an improved quality of work life for all of the people who live in the communities the Council serves in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Nominations for the CAP Award will be accepted through September 2, 2008.
The CAP Award will be presented at a breakfast ceremony on September 19, 2008 at a location to be announced.
